Did the series end already?

I want to know the answer to this question because the thing I hate the most is open endings like Love-Ru I can't stand them because the character should make a choice in whom he stays with.

Yes the series already ended....two years ago. And no, Ash didn't chose anyone.

The translators at Baka-Tsuki already spoiled the ending on the Animesuki forum. And they said that he didn't end up choosing anyone.

I simply despise open endings it reminds of Negima and Love-Ru the series that I most despise is Love-Ru when you create a Harem genre have the guts to actually finish what you started.

Ash at least has guts to say what he wants but Rito is simply the worst not all series end up as great as Dxd for example who ended up as Issei marrying all the girls, and having a ton of children with them.

Actually Negima's ending wasn't open ended. As the sequel series UQ Holder reveals that Negi couldn't really choose anyone since he wasn't able to have children because of his immortal status.

I didn't know that Negi was not fertile because I didn't get that when I read the story.

I don't understand that does this mean that Evangeline can't have children either if she has sex with someone because in the UQ holder series it is quite capable of Evangeline to have children because Shinso Vampires are able to reproduce.

Evangeline cannot have children either, and she isn't a natural shinso. She was transformed into one by the Lifemaker.

The details about Negi's fertility are all pretty much answered in the sequel to Negima- UQ Holder.

If you read it, pretty much all your questions should be answered.

Note that UQ Holder takes place 80 years after the end of Negima.

Also, Negi's unfertility was in fact brought up in Negima, though its only an offhand mention. It happened during the final fight between Negi and Evangeline at the end of the manga.

This actually ruined a big part of the story because he had a large harem of girls that were interested in him.

I'm late to this, but really, he didn't choose anyone. I'm disappointed.... to include an open ending, the anime left a clifhanger too if you've watched it aside the light novels.
